Day 1:
Cape Town: Pick up at any Hotel/Guesthouse in Cape Town
Worchester/Kleinplasie: Explore the lifestyle of the early Cape pioneer farmers at the open-air Museum.
Barrydale: Lunch
Oudtshoorn/Ostrich: Learn more about these remarkable birds, stand on an ostrich egg, enter the hatchery, visit
an ostrich palace, watch an ostrich race, check out the Ostrich curios shop. Guided tour in English, German, Dutch or
Spanish.
Accommodation:
(1) At a working ostrich farm (2000 ha, 3000 ostriches, 250 springbok, 150 birds species): 3 luxurious cabins
(1-4 persons per cabin) on the edge of the water of a dam, each cabin has a wooden deck, 1 bathroom, fireplace.
Plus 5 luxurious double rooms and 2 standard rooms in the main farm house (4 stars), en-suite bathroom, pool.

(2) At a 4-star Country Lodge consisting of farm buildings, ca 1830: stables, wagon house… converted into 20 double

Cango Caves: unique geology, colums, stalactites, crystal pools, drum chamber,

Bring sensitive footwear, light clothing (temp approx 18C).
Cango Wildlife Ranch: watch all big cats (even tigers which do not occur in SA), crocodiles, touch a cheetah…
guided tour in English, curios shop.
Oudtshoorn: Lunch
Knysna: Chill out at the Knysna Quays: Oyster bar, coffee, shopping.
Plettenberg Bay: Accomodation:
(1) At a 4 star Country Lodge in a private Nature Reserve: 12 double Rooms /cottages with en-suite bathroom, private
wooden deck, hammock, fireplace.

(2) At an 4-star Guesthouse, set on a cliff with stunning views of the sea & beaches: 5 luxury double rooms, en-suite
